UACC Energy Case Competition Final 2022

Energy Case Competition is back for 2022 - are you ready to win your share of a $10,000 prize pool?

The Energy Case Competition, generously sponsored by the Energy Centre, is the perfect opportunity for you (and your three teammates) to explore innovative ways a business may enhance New Zealand's energy sector. The competition is your chance to get feedback from expert judges, network with industry leaders and if you’re lucky, take out the top prize of $5,000.

Teams of four will be given five days to critically analyse, research, and propose a solution for a major issue in the energy sector. After these submissions are reviewed, five finalist teams will be selected and will need to prepare a 10-minute presentation for a panel of expert judges.

To enter, you must be a paid UACC member. You can enter as a team of four with your friends or individually. If you enter as an individual, you will be assigned to a random team. Teams must include at least one member studying Commerce and at least one member from another faculty.

COVID-19 restrictions permitting, the only component of the event in-person will be the final presentations. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in contact with the team behind the event (Fiona Shi and Harris Ashton) by emailing specialised1.uoacaseclub@gmail.com.
