Development Programme

How It Works

The Industrial Equity, LLC (IEL) Development Programme is a five-week training program focused on personal development, analysing business cases and building practical business knowledge. It acts as the pathway to becoming a member of the University of Auckland Case Programme. Training will be run twice every year, once in Semester 1 and once in Semester 2. In each session, between 12 to 16 top students are selected.

How To Apply

To be eligible to apply, you must register and compete in either the First Timers' or Open Case Competitions or any other qualifying competition. In 2025, these consist of ZURU FMCG Case Competition and the the Baker Tilly Open / First Timer’s Competition. After you have completed one of these qualifying events, you will be asked to fill in a separate application form to apply!

If you’re interested in the Baker Tilly Open / First Timer’s Competition occurring in April, please follow this link to register for the Open Competition or this link to register for the First Timer’s competition. Registration will close on Sunday the 13th of April at 11:59pm.
